Field Op Basic

UPDATES​
1. Tents will be provided (2 people per tent), however, if you want to bring your own tent, you may. TENTS MUST BE NO BIGGER
    THAN A NORMAL 2-3 PERSON TENT.
2. Pick up should be around 1500 hours (3 p.m.) on Friday, 20 August. There is no official graduation ceremony. 
3. To register, contact your home unit commanding officer (or designated home unit representative). Register for either RD-CT-2101 (NSCC) or LF-CT-2101 (NLCC). Mail ASAP to the COTC:
       Request for Training Authority (NSCTNG001) - provided by your home unit or found at:

       Training Deposit for $100 made payable to: USNSCC - must either be a money order or a check drawn on the home unit's checking

               account. Mail to:

        Medical History Supplemental (NSCADM001 pg. 7 & 8) with all appropriate signatures - ONLY IF you take medications either

Hello Cadets and Parents,
We are happy to announce that we will be holding a Field Operation designed around the basics of camping and survival. This training will take place Sunday, August 15th - Friday, August 20th (Staff: 14-20 August - See Welcome Letter). This training will cover the topics of basic survival and camping. 
Cadets will learn:
  • Shelter building
  • Campfire cooking
  • Water purification
  • Fire building
  • And other great survival techniques

Sea Cadets register at: RD-CT-2101. League Cadets register at: LF-CT-2101.
